Just discovered today that my dad, Wetzel K. Johnson, who served in the US army as a member of Battery O, 13th Field Artillery Battalion was awarded a Bronze Star. The 200 strawberry plants I put in last year did pretty well during the winter in spite of afnimals trying to eat some of them. My plants are now in blossom and I should be getting fruit very soon.
